Investigation into Circles and Spheres

The Unique World of Circles

For centuries, from the Age of Antiquity, the times of ancient Greece, to now, the modern age, when science and technology is at its prime, great thinkers and mathematicians have puzzled over circles. In the world of geometry, where everything is regular, it is an exception. It is strange, it is unique, and it is different from every other shape in the way that is it defies the fundamental laws that govern every other shape. Many great thinkers have devoted time and theorems to it. Just quoting a few, the Copernicus’s theorem, Archimedes’s Method and so forth. It is because of the unique properties of the circle that prompted us to devote this webpage to it. Enjoy!
